All change for D365 F&O – New names and apps
So, we are not sure what it's called, but the good news is that the new packaging will include significantly more functionality and value at the same price.
The Dynamics 365 for Operations SKU will be replaced (as of July 1, 2017) by the Unified Operations Plan SKU. The Unified Operations Plan includes:
The Unified Operations Plan retains the 20-seat minimum of Operations. The applications for Talent and Retail can be licenced on their own, but the Finance and Operations app will only be available as part of the Unified Operations Plan.
All existing customers with Operations SKUs will automatically transition to Unified Operations Plan SKUs.
Microsoft has also changed the names of its Dynamics 365 Enterprise Edition Plans. Plan 1 (Sales, Field Service, Customer Service, PSA, and Power Apps) will now be called "Customer Engagement Plan". Plan 2 (Plan 1 + Operations) will be called "Dynamics 365 Plan".
