The National e-Invoicing System (KSeF) is a government platform for issuing, receiving, and storing structured invoices. Since January 1, 2022, it has operated as a voluntary solution, but starting February 1, 2026, it will become mandatory.

Who will be affected by KSeF?

  • February 1, 2026 – Entrepreneurs whose sales value (including tax) exceeded PLN 200 million in 2025.
  • April 1, 2026 – All other entrepreneurs.

For the first six months, no penalties will be imposed for violations of KSeF regulations. However, starting August 1, 2026, non-compliance will result in financial penalties and the risk of paralyzing accounting processes.
