From User Assistance to Autonomous Business Processes – Copilot, AI Agents and Microsoft Foundry in Practice

About

Copilot generates meeting summaries and helps you create documents. That is a good starting point. But what if you need an assistant that can independently process RFQs, qualify invoices, analyze cost variances, or prepare management reports based on data from multiple systems? Join the webinar and explore three levels of working with AI - from personal productivity with Microsoft 365 Copilot, through AI agents operating across business processes, to scalable AI systems built on Microsoft Foundry.

What will we demonstrate during the webinar?

1. Copilot in Everyday Applications

How automation works in:

  • Microsoft Word – document generation, content creation, structural formatting,
  • Microsoft Teams – automatic meeting summaries, conversation history analysis,
  • Microsoft PowerPoint – presentation generation, translations, image creation.

2. AI Agents – Out-of-the-Box and Custom-Built

An AI agent is not a chatbot. It is a system that performs multi-step tasks: retrieves data, applies defined rules, makes decisions, and delivers a ready-to-use result.

We will discuss:

  • the differences between Copilot and AI agents,
  • built-in agents (e.g., Researcher, Analyst) and their use cases,
  • how to build your own agent in Copilot Studio (introduction to Topics, data sources, and logic design).

3. Microsoft Foundry – When Copilot Is Not Enough

Copilot increases individual productivity.

Agents increase process productivity.

Foundry enables AI systems to become part of your enterprise architecture.

We will present:

  • Microsoft Foundry as a platform for building scalable, secure AI solutions operating on corporate data and integrated with key business systems,
  • Case study: AGA – ANEGIS Generative Assistant — an AI assistant built on Microsoft Foundry that automates RFQ handling.

Why Should You Attend?

  • You will understand the difference between personal productivity and process automation.
  • You will learn when Copilot is sufficient and when enterprise-grade AI architecture is required.
  • You will explore practical use cases from finance, sales, and procurement.
  • You will see a real implementation architecture with security and data governance control.
